Color in a diamond actually refers to its lack of color. The less body color, the more rare and valuable, and the higher its color grade. Colorless (D, E, F) and Near Colorless (G, H, I and J) are all acceptable ranges of color and will not exhibit body color when looked at in a piece of jewelry.
